The Grande Prairie Stompede, at Evergreen Park Grande Prairie, takes place in May. Annually it draws over 20,000 spectators for three days of fun and excitement. Features Canada’s best professional rodeo cowboys and the world’s top chuckwagon drivers.

The Prairie Art Gallery located at 10209-99 Street. Features many fine local artists and travelling exhibits. They provide tours to all schools and to any other groups upon request. Established in 1976.

Take a trip down memory lane with the biggest collection of artifacts in the Peace Country. The Pioneer Museum is located along Bear Creek at Muskoseepi Park. 102 Avenue and 102 Street. The Museum opened its doors in 1970. (780) 532-5482
